B series quick-release couplings are used in a wider range of applications and with a wider range of materials than A series couplings and are commonly used in Agricultural and forestry machinery, mobile equipment, and construction machinery. What is ISO B Quick Coupling?

ISO B quick couplings are those that meet the dimensional requirements of ISO 7241 series B. The ISO 7241 standard refers to quick couplings for hydraulic applications, which require high working pressures and therefore are made of carbon steel. Other materials, such as stainless steel, brass, etc., because only the connection dimensions meet ISO 7241 series B, but other aspects of performance are not fully compliant. We usually call them ISO B quick couplings.

Body Material Options

Quick couplings are fully compliant with ISO 7241 series B. They can only be made of carbon steel and are often used in hydraulic systems. For example, in the chemical industry, where the fluid is highly corrosive, stainless steel is often used. For water piping applications, brass or stainless steel is commonly used.
